Vintage Red Lips

I am not only a believer of clothes but also makeup. The right outfit has to go with the right makeup in order to complete the whole creation! The floral dress looks a bit vintage to me especially the colors and the pattern. It is sexy but the bow in between makes it look cute and tone it down a little. Since I wanted to make the look more vintage, I was wearing the matte red lipstick from M.A.C. and the red is just the way I like it.
Summer is coming to an end soon but I am glad that the fall is around the corner, and New York Fashion Week is gonna take place in about 10 days!

Hester Street Fair

If you are in New York and want to visit some local stores, go to Hester Street Fair on Saturday!
I went there two weekends ago and it was lovely! There are different kinds of booths, such as food, baked goods and even clothes! The street fair is not huge but it is enough for you to spend a couple good hours on browsing and wandering. Another nice thing is that there are tables and seats for you chill.

Casual Peplum

Peplum doesn't only help you to dress up but it can also help you to dress down when you just want a comfy, casual day. Summer time, barbecue time, I love barbecue food and this peplum top is just perfect to cover my little belly after I ate all the grilled chicken, pork and hotdogs.
I was going over my wardrobe the other day and found that pink and blue are probably my favorite colors because if I close my eyes and pick any item, over 50% probability will be either pink or blue.
What about you guys?

I normally don't wear Abercrombie or Hollister, but this peplum is just the perfect fit for me and I love the sailor stripes. Again, I tried to stay within three colors so that the entire outfit would not have looked too busy.

Thank you so much for reading everyone and I hope we all gonna have a wonderful week!

Bodysuit and high-waist short

Back to New York and I went for quick shopping the other day in the mall. New York has been humid, hot and sometimes muddy lately, so I think going to the mall is better than being trapped in the house. When I was in Cali, my outfits were always so bright and so colorful because of the weather. Maybe it had something to do with my vacation mood too, but anyway, my outfits are slightly different when I am in New York.

I got this bodysuit from Forever 21 last year if my memory serves me right. Bodysuit is fantastic when you wanna tuck your top in because it keeps your top nicely tucked in the shorts or skirt. Since I am short, I always find ways to make myself look taller than I am, I was wearing this bodysuit with my high-waist shorts, and heels of course :)

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! <3

Palm Trees and Brunch

Brunch is my favorite meal when I was staying in San Diego, and I found that there are actually so many awesome places for brunch. I don't know if it is a San Diego thing or not, but I feel like pancakes are very popular for breakfast and brunch time. Although I am not a big fan of pancake, I gotta say that the pancakes from Snooze are beyond amazing. Click Here and you will see the awesomeness ;)

Another place is Cafe 21 in downtown San Diego and their breakfast food is really the champion. I can still remember the salmon omelette and I thought I was in heaven when it was in my mouth! Of course, the spinach crepes were delicious as well!

Since I had to do a lot of walking that day so I wore my flats, well the heels were only a inch so I think that they are still flats :P San Diego is so beautiful, especially the weather. I love palm trees although they can be very useless when it comes to providing shades.

The entire trip would have been meaningless without my boyfriend and I am so thankful for having him during the entire time. He is so amazing and I can never thank him enough for what he has done for me. <3

Thank you so much for reading the entire San Diego journey with me and we will go back to New York in the next post!

Dinner Date Outfit...

Here I was in Marriot Marqius and Marina in San Diego, which is a very nice restaurant.
Usually when I travel, I always bring a maxi dress with me because you can either make it fancy or dress it down by trying different shoes and accessories. This dress is perfect for the beach if you wear it during daytime, and for a dinner date, wear it with heels and some jewels like I did here....

Sometimes, since I just went to the beach before that, I added the eyeliner and some bracelets to make the look more polished. I have had this dress for three years but it still looks very new, because when I wash it by hands and I never put it in the dryer ;) This dress is from Forever 21 and it was from the special collection, so the quality is much better than the usual ones.

Next post will be the wrap for the trip series and we will be back to New York, stay tuned and thank you for reading!
